In the quest to provide customers with the best service and advice Clive van Kerckhoven started a used car dealership which he called My Private Dealer (MPD), the idea being that our company and its people would best serve your interests and become trusted confidants representing a motor business that you would refer to as your very own motor dealer.

In 2008 MPD was successful in obtaining the Suzuki Automobile franchise, and has enjoyed great success in becoming a leading Suzuki Dealership in South Africa. Suzuki Bramley is situated in the North Eastern Johannesburg suburb of Kew. The dealership is ideally located between the M1 and N3 Highways and is easily accessible from the Corlett Drive (M1) and Modderfontein (N3) off ramps.

Clive van Kerckhoven serves as our Dealer Principal and is dedicated to ensuring our continued growth as a leading Suzuki Car Dealer. He leads from the front and has provided great service to customers for over 30 years. He has extensive knowledge in every aspect of running of a motor dealership; from the showroom to the workshop there is little that misses his attention.

Great care has been taken to put together and nurture a team of people who eat sleep and “DO” service. We strive to take customer satisfaction to the next level by ensuring the job IS DONE right by doing more than implement strategies to measure your satisfaction, but live each day by caring that our customers are happy.

In order to deliver great service and value the Suzuki Bramley Team has to be of the best people in our industry. Our Team consists of experienced, well trained and enthusiastic people who are able to recognise and deliver on your needs.

In no specific order the members of our team are:

Greg van Kerckhoven our Sales Manager joined us after completing his B.Com Financial Management and doing a year in the insurance industry. He is meticulous in all his dealing and his attention to detail is phenomenal. Greg is assisted by Andrew Koen who previously worked in the banking/finance industry and is experienced in both new and used car sales, Hymie Dinner the “granddad” of the team and has 34 years experience in both new and used car sales.

Amanda Thornton is our Finance & Insurance Manager and with 12 years experience in the industry can offer you the best advice on all your finance and insurance requirements. She is extremely professional and a wonderful “people person” who will help you find the right financial package.

Greg Reid is our new after sales manager and will gladly assist you with any after sales queries.

Deon Strydom heads up our Parts and Service Centre, with many years on the bench he is the undisputed champion of Suzuki Technical knowledge and ability be it parts, repair or service.

Rajen Thumbiran is in charge of our used car procurement and is an expert in his field and can give you an accurate valuation on your car.

Rui Gomes is our chief mechanic and Foreman. He has been servicing cars for 38 years and is comfortable doing a simple oil change or overhauling an entire engine and has a wealth of experience behind him.

Marius Lange 5 years experience.

Having proved they have the right aptitude Elvis Mtandana previously our security guard and Basil Moloto one of our drivers are training as motor mechanics under the guidance of Rui and Marius.
